Prof. Yu Miaojie, President of Liaoning University and member of the Economic Policy Committee of the Ministry of Commerce, was interviewed by China Education Television’s Program Xinhua Smart Strategy recently. He pointed out that the key to China’s economy in the second half of the year is to stabilize employment and price of commodities, and that small and medium-sized enterprises are the market players that create the largest number of jobs. We should accelerate the construction of a unified domestic market, promote fair and unified factor markets, reduce trade costs, and promote the unification of the commodity and service markets.
